Turf Center Warranty Information

At Turf Center, we stand behind the quality of our artificial turf products. All turf purchased through Turf Center is covered by a 15-year manufacturer warranty, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please note that Turf Center sells turf products only and does not provide installation services. Any labor or installation warranties are the responsibility of the contractor or installer you choose, and Turf Center is not affiliated with those services.

What’s Covered:

General defects in the artificial turf material, as determined by the manufacturer, within the 15-year warranty period.
UV fading/degradation or loss of fiber strength by more than 50% in areas not stained or abused, as per manufacturer standards.
Pile height reduction by more than 50%, provided infill levels are properly maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.

Note: The warranty is void if the artificial turf is not properly maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s care instructions.

What’s Excluded:

Damage caused by vandalism, misuse, or improper maintenance.
Damage from raking, vacuuming, or blowing not in line with manufacturer guidelines.
Damage from reflective surfaces, including windows, pool equipment, or other reflective objects.
Damage from acts of nature, including but not limited to lightning, heavy rain, or high winds.
Damage from pulling, tearing, lifting, or cutting the turf by adults, children, or pets.
Damage from vehicles driven on or near the turf.
Damage from dragging, pulling, or sliding objects across the turf.
Burns from fire, hot objects, dropped matches, or cigarette butts.
Damage from unauthorized repairs or cleaning methods not approved by the manufacturer.
Excessive wear from footwear, sportswear, sports shoes, cleats, metal cleats, or rubber cleats.

Claims Process:

To submit a warranty claim for your Turf Center turf purchase, please follow these steps:

Submit your claim in writing (phone calls do not expedite claims):

Turf Center will respond within 7 business days requesting photos of the “defects” or damage, to verify the claim. These will be sent to the manufacturing facility for further inspection.
If approved, replacements will be coordinated within 30 days, subject to material availability and manufacturer approval.
Approved claims will be documented, and a completion notice will be sent via email or mail.
Denied claims will be returned with an explanation via email or mail.
All claims will be kept on file until the warranty period expires.
Claims and exchanges do not reset the timeline of the 15 year manufacturer warranty period. All warranties will be begin the moment of purchase, and last 15 year period unless otherwise deemed null.

Important Notes:

The 15-year manufacturer warranty applies only to the turf product and does not cover installation or labor, which are the responsibility of your chosen contractor.
Proper maintenance is required to maintain warranty validity. Refer to the manufacturer’s care instructions provided with your purchase.
Turf Center does not offer lifetime warranties or maintenance plans. Any additional warranties or maintenance services are provided by third parties and are not affiliated with Turf Center.

After-Care Instructions:

Maintaining your artificial turf is simple when following these guidelines to ensure its longevity and appearance, as well as to keep the 15-year manufacturer warranty valid:

Cleaning Debris: Use a blower to remove dust, pine needles, dirt, or debris. If a blower is unavailable, use a push broom with soft, durable bristles (no wire brushes or heavy nylon).
No Raking: Absolutely no raking. Raking can damage the turf by pulling up tufts, requiring replacement of the affected area.
Watering: Water down the turf to clean it, especially after pet use, spilled drinks, or when dust/pollen accumulates. Treat artificial turf like outdoor carpet—remove or treat anything that doesn’t belong.
Chemical Use: Research cleaning products carefully. Avoid chemicals that may fade, melt, or promote bacterial growth in the turf. We recommend safe products like Oxyturf or hydrogen peroxide-based alternatives that are non-toxic to pets and humans.
